Lightweaver
Update: Just figured out how to implement web version!
Embark on an enchanting journey into the mystical realm of Lightweaver, a unique fusion of trading card games and strategic monster battles. In this captivating adventure, players assume the role of powerful mages, armed with a deck of five carefully chosen cards, as they face formidable monsters lurking in the shadows.
Gameplay Overview:
At the commencement of their journey, players are tasked with selecting a set of five cards from a diverse pool, each card representing a distinct magical ability. These abilities range from dazzling light spells to traps and regenerative spells. As the mage progresses through the game, their strategic choices in assembling the deck become pivotal to their success.
Instructions:
1. On your turn, play cards. You can play as many cards as light energy in your reservoir. Your reservoir has a capacity of 3.
On the enemy turn, deflect dark energy attacks by pressing the letter in the direction the attack is coming.
Absorb light energy attacks from the enemy by not clicking any letters.
Monsters:
Magical Duel:
Engage in intense magical duels with menacing monsters, where the interplay between light and dark is the key to victory. The gameplay revolves around a dual-energy system—players absorb light attacks from the monster to accumulate energy, empowering them to unleash more spells. However, they must also skillfully defend against the monster's dark attacks to endure the perilous encounter.
Light Absorption:
Successfully absorbing light attacks enhances the mage's energy reserves, enabling them to unlock and play more cards. This dynamic creates a delicate balance between offense and defense, encouraging players to strategically absorb light to fuel their magical arsenal while staying resilient against the relentless dark onslaught.
Strategic Card Play:
The deck becomes a mage's arsenal, and strategic card play is paramount. Choose when to deploy offensive light spells, protective barriers, and counterattacks wisely. The diversity of cards in the deck ensures that each battle is a dynamic puzzle, requiring adaptability and foresight to overcome the unique challenges posed by each monster.
