STORY:

A ship rapidly approaches a black hole. Increasing anxiety causes her to wreck the ship, causing a girl to be trapped and in danger. All is doomed. Nobody can save her. But wait..... The black hole seems to come alive. It starts using its warping abilities to shift the ship. Is it possible to save the girl this way? Are black holes actually not that bad?

GAMEPLAY

You are a black hole in space. A ship approaches. They might die. You are like a pitbull, always misjudged. You use your gravitational powers to alter the walls of the ship and help the humans get to safety. Maybe they'll be your friends now? You've never had any friends, having friends would be so cool.

Heres a quick element glossary

 - don't touch the broken cables!

 - opens and closes something

 - maybe this propels you in a particular direction

 - I think this tells you the direction of the gravity in the room

  - you need to get her out and this basically needs to be opened in order to do that

A few more things, items that look like they have hazard tape around them might block walls from moving. Walls that are grayed out are disabled, you wont be able to move them. Some of the things that are affecting the room might be hidden so you'll need to move around to find them. Oh, and there may be a laser that can also kill you. GOOD LUCK!

This game was designed for the GMTK 2024 under the theme: Built to Scale. Our idea was to design a game where the gameplay depended solely on changing the scale of the room in order to solve puzzles.

This is our third GMTK submission! We are always so excited to participate:)
